Winona Ryder is coming out of her cave? retirement? self-imposed exile? to star on a new Netflix show, an untitled eight-episode supernatural thriller.
The project is being described as an ode to the classics of the 1980s. Ryder will play the working-class mother of a 2-year-old who goes missing (he like, vanishes into thin air, and the search for him reveals some secret government experiments and that some mysterious force may be at work).
