It is getting to be that time more and more, huh: the time when all the OG designers start to take a bow and retire (ish) from their posts.
Donna Karan announced today that she is stepping down as the chief creative force of her namesake company, Donna Karan International, this after 30 years at the helm.
Karan is not going away completely, though. The designer will remain a close adviser to the company, but her main focus from now on will be her Urban Zen Foundation.
Good for her.
