Strange Rogue

Well who is bringing the tea and crumpets?

A British affair – that’s what the Doctor Strange movie’s turning into.

Not that there’s anything wrong with that, of course.

Chiwetel Ejiofor is the latest Oscar-nominated actor from across the pond to be tapped for a role in Marvel’s next blockbuster, the much-anticipated – and appropriately hella teased – arrival on the scene of Stephen Strange, a neurosurgeon of the selfish variety recovering from a near-fatal car crash only to become the Sorcerer Supreme, the planet’s mystical defender.

Benedict Cumberbatch is, of course, already on board in the titular role, and Tilda Swinton’s set for the part of his Ancient One mentor.

Ejiofor will antagonize the Cumber-stud as Baron Mordo, another mystical student who attempts a coup of sorts.

Doctor Strange is slated for Nov. 4, 2016.
