It’s a most natural transition: that of the indie actor who becomes a blockbuster poster child.
Which is why Ezra Miller (We Need to Talk About Kevin, The Perks of Being a Wallflower) is turning superhero.
And, yes, you can totally say that it’ll all start happening for him a flash. Because he is going to be playing The Flash.
Miller – the Tilda Swinton of young male up-and-comers – has been announced as one of the key components of the Marvelfication of the DC Comicsverse for the big screen, and will be headlining The Flash in 2018.
Needless to say to say, the powers that be will have to work extra-hard to differentiate Miller’s Flash from the one that Grant Gustin’s portraying on the hit freshman CW show that quite literally just debuted this fall.
