Jamie Bamber – who needs to get cast in a Marvel tentpole like, last year – is getting ready for the television midseason.
The erstwhile Battlestar Galactica player (remember his towel dance?) has been tapped for a role on the upcoming CW show The Messengers, the story of five strangers reeling from the effects of a mysterious object that’s come and hit Earth (all five live through the incident and come out the other side with these new powers that no one can explain, natch).
The show also will have a Rapture element to it (how current!), which they may be causing...or which they alone may be in a position of preventing.
For now, Bamber is only expected to recur on The Messengers.
