Pink and the Angry Inch?

I am hearing that the producers behind Broadway’s Hedwig and the Angry Inch – the Neil Patrick Harris-starring hit (it is a hit, right?) – are in talks with Pink about taking over the part.

But...two things have to happen in order for this to even come close to materializing.

First: Pink has to be into it (and since she did quite well acting in last fall’s Thank You for Sharing, I’d say girlfriend’s interest in acting is rather legit).

And second: The show has to keep running, even after NPH more than likely wins a Tony for his performance in it next month and, more importantly, after he eventually leaves the show.

Rockin’ alternative, IMHO. So let it will be, if the rumor’s for real.
