Things Are Not Looking Up for Lance Armstrong

Yikes.

A couple of months ago, Lance Armstrong decided he would stop fighting allegations by the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency that he, well...doped to become the world’s greatest cyclist, thus losing all claim to all the glory that said as much, and now, the guy is losing his foundation.

Kinda.

Armstrong announced today that he is stepping down as chairman of the cancer-awareness Livestrong charity.

“This organization, its mission, and its supporters are incredibly dear to my heart,” the disgraced athlete said in a statement. “Today therefore, to spare the foundation any negative effects as a result of controversy surrounding my cycling career, I will conclude my chairmanship.

Oh, and to add to the whole thing, Nike dropped Armstrong just as this news was breaking, so you can say the guy did not have a good Wednesday....
