The two-time Golden Globe winner is set to star in Loomis Fargo, a comedy produced by Lorne Michael about the real-life robbery of more than $17 million from a Loomis Fargo armed truck.
Napoleon Dynamite’s Jared Hess will direct.
No word yet on who will join Carrey as the other three Southern dimwits who go in on the heist, of which he is the ringleader, but cameras are set to start rolling next spring in North Carolina.
