The Munster Patriarch

NBC is slowly but surely putting the pieces together for its upcoming Munsters reboot Mockingbird Lane.

The dramatic retelling from Bryan Fuller (TV’s Pushing Daisies) already has Eddie Izzard cast as Grandpa, and now the show has found its Herman.

Jerry O’Connell is set to play the Munsters pater familias who, on the show, will be a mishmash of parts from other people and in a constant state of decay.

Since the Lily to his character will be a woman who doesn’t age, you can imagine this Herman also will be in a constant state of woe.

“There’s something very poignant there,” Fuller has said of their relationship.

Can’t wait to see how it all plays.
