Now that Superman has flown The CW, the network is turning to the Green Arrow.
And just to show everyone they mean business, the powers that be masterminding Arrow, a show based on the DC Comics character (which just received a pilot order), already have cast their playboy-by-day-hero-by-night hero.
Bit player (he has been featured on TV’s Vampire Diaries and HBO’s Hung) Stephen Amell (do yourself a solid and GTH!) is graduating to the big time now that he has nabbed the part.
I am quietly optimistically about this one...or, at least, I was, since Greg Berlanti (TV’s Brothers & Sisters) is one of the guys developing the project.
And, also, because Amell’s scorchin’-hot stuff.
