The Ballad of the Hunter and the Hunted

Well, it looks like they take turns at the Segdwick-Bacons.

Now that Kyra Segdwick is wrapping up her run on TNTs The Closer (her last batch of eps are set to air in the summer), it just may be Kevin Bacons turn to pop up on our TVs on a regular basis.

The actor is in talks to headline Kevin (Scream, TV’s The Vampire Diaries) Williamson’s new untitled drama pilot about the complex relationship between a ruthless serial killer and the FBI agent that brought him to justice.

Bacon would play the good guy, who is reactivated after the bad guy (yet to be cast) escapes and brings mayhem everywhere he goes thanks to the cult-like following he developed while in the big house.

Should the show go to series, the first season would only be 15-episodes long, probably to accommodate the schedule the Segdwick-Bacons have managed to make work while she was doing her thing on cable.
