Justin Timberlake escorted Cpl. Kelsey De Santis to the Instructor Battalion Marine Corps Ball over the weekend, and, cool as cucumber, the guy said afterward he was proud to be there and do this one little thing for someone so deserving.

“What I didn’t know was how moved I would be by the whole experience,” he said. “ I felt like I was getting a chance to be among my heroes.”

Ain’t that just swell?
