The Oscar Host with the Most Is Back

No Eddie Murphy? No problem.

Now that both Brett Ratner and Eddie Murphy are out as producer and host of next winter’s Academy Awards, Billy Crystal will do what folks in Hollywood have been wanting him to do for a few years now: host the big show again.

Yup, beloved Billy’s back!

“Am doing the Oscars so the young woman in the pharmacy will stop asking my name when I pick up my prescriptions,” he tweet-confirmed, adding, via and official statement, that some of the best moment of his career have taken place on the Oscar stage. “Looking forward [to it].”

Ditto, Billy. Ditto.
