Palme for Tree

The 64th Cannes Film Festival came to a close yesterday with Terrence Malick’s Brad Pitt-starring saga The Tree of Life walking away the winner of the coveted Palme d’Or.

The jury, led by Robert De Niro, chose Melancholia’s Kirsten Dunst as best actress. The best actor prize went to French star Jean Dujardin (The Artist).
