So Money

Once this whole Twilight Saga thing comes to an end, Robert Pattinson wants to stay relevant.

That’s probably why the guy has been branching out. He already starred in that exploitative dud Remember Me last year, and he’s got Water for Elephants to look forward to this spring.

Now comes word that teen idol has signed on to star in Cosmopolis for David Cronenberg, the adaptation of the Don DeLillo novel the director wrote for the screen.

Pattison will play a financial wunderkind who risks his entire fortune to bet against the yen on a tumultuous day, a gamble that puts him in the crosshairs for assassination.

Marion Cotillard and Paul Giamatti are in talks to join the cast.
