20th Century Fox put the kibosh on the project – kinda – when it passed on a script by Billy Ray (State of Play) that would have continued the storyline of rogue CTU agent Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland).

“As far as I know, it is in suspended animation,” said Howard Gordon, the show’s longtime producer. “There is talk about re-approaching it. I understand (director/producer) Tony Scott is meeting with Kiefer to talk about ideas. People are still talking about it.”

Y’all better hurry and get it together soon. And I mean that as a fan.
