Two More by the Road

Oscar nominees Viggo Mortensen and Amy Adams are joining Kristen Stewart, Garrett Hedlund, and Kirsten Dunst in the big-screen adaptation of Jack Kerouac’s On the Road that Walter Salles is directing.

Mortensen will play Old Bull Lee, famously based on author William S. Burroughs, and Adams will play his wife Jane, based on Burrough’s common-law wife Joan Vollmer.

Production on the Oscar-bait-y On the Road began yesterday.
