All Rise!

The fundraiser initiative Stand Up to Cancer launched a couple of years ago during New York Fashion Week to great acclaim and participation from the Hollywood, music, and fashion communities.

It even spawned a catchy single called “Just Stand Up,” featuring, among others Beyoncé, Mariah Carey, Mary J. Blige, Rihanna, and Miley Cyrus.

Organizers skipped last year putting on a SU2C show, but they are definitely on for Sept. 10.

A TV special will once again air on 14 networks, and just so we all save the date, especially the young’uns, the powers that be have produced a star-studded PSA featuring Young Hollywood’s buzziest, including Zac Efron, Dakota Fanning, Zachary Levi, Vanessa Hudgens, Andrew Garfield (a.k.a the new Spider-Man), and Kristen Bell, among others.
