Sylvia Hoeks (Tirza) has been cast in a lead role role in the project, opposite Harrison Ford, Ryan Gosling, and Robin Wright.
Not much is known about the follow-up, other than Denis Villeneuve (Sicario) is directing, David Bautista is also co-starring, and the story will be set several decades after the original, with Ford reprising his role as the replicant-hunting Rick Deckard.
Blade Runner 2: Bladier and Runnier – ha! – is due out on Oct. 6, 2017.
