Danny Pino (TV’s Law & Order: Special Victims Unit) will return to the small screen next summer, as one of the stars of the new CBS comic thriller, BrainDead.
Smashed’s Mary Elizabeth Winstead toplines the project, as a young, idealistic staffer whose first job in Washington, D.C., leads her to discover that the government doesn’t work animore – because alien spawn have invaded Earth and eaten the brains of a number of Hill congresspeople and their staff.
Pino will portray the a senator and the brother to Winstead’s character.
