La Streisand is coming outta semi-retirement to direct a film. And not just any film but a film about Catherine the Great.
Appropriately titled Catherine the Great, the project was birthed by a Black List script by a Kristina Lauren Anderson.
Streisand hasn’t helmed a movie since the 1996 awards bait The Mirror Has Two Faces. She was last seen on screen in 2012, in The Guilt Trip, the Seth Rogen flop.
