Her Looks Kill

Kate Winslet has had a 2015 of ups (The Divergent Series: Insurgent) and downs (her A Little Chaos got a platform release and is available On Demand now, but not much has happened with it).

The Academy Award winner’s fall – as in autumn! – should put her back in the game, though.

She will be seen supporting Michael Fassbender in Steve Jobs, and, more importantly, in the title role of The Dressmaker, as a très femme fatale-esque Aussie returning home from a stylish life as a designer in Europe to care for her sick mother – a move that revolts her hometown given her dark past (evidently, she left home because she may have committed...a murder).

Judy Davis and Liam Hemsworth co-star, as her mother and the love interest she left behind.

The Dressmaker will strut into theaters on Oct. 22. Check out the film’s trailer now.
