The Changing Nature of Revenge

ABC’s Revenge is going through some growing pains behind the scenes that will be reflected on the screen next season.

Now, I’m still about three or four eps behind on the season, with several shows, but I already got it spoiled that come fall, Connor Paolo will not be hitting the Hamptons again.

Whoopies, sorry if you were blissfully unaware.

Now comes word that Mike Kelley, the show’s creator, will not serve as day-to-day caller of the shots (missed that nugget by a lot!) and that Ashley Madekwe is exiting the show as well.

“Yes it’s true I’m leaving,” the actress tweet-confirmed on Friday. “I’ve LOVED playing Ashley Davenport but after 2 seasons there is no longer a story left for me to tell...[.]”

Madekwe assured fans of the show that she will be back on the show come the third season premiere to wrap things up with her character, whom she hopes will go out in a coutured blaze of glory.
