Officially Part of the Days

I was watching a clip of an interview Hugh Jackman did recently, for 60 Minutes, if memory serves, and I remember thinking how crazy it was that his wife initially balked at the idea of Les Misérables star playing Wolverine.

Beyond-loco, right? The X-Men franchise wouldn’t have been the success it was and is without the recently starred Awesome Aussie.

We know it. The studio knows it, which is why they’re hard at work on a second Wolverine-only installment. And Jackman knows it.

Which is why he keeps going back for more.

And back he’ll go. Or will he be going toward? I dunno. It’s hard to tell when you say yes, as director Bryan Singer has confirmed, to appearing in a prequel-sequel titled X-Men: Days of Future Past, the follow-up to X-Men: First Class.

Doe’n’t matter much to me how they weave him into the story – I know it’ll be fawesome – as long as Jackman interacts with James McAvoy and Michael Fassbender again. Preferably shirtless.
