Almost All Assembled

Joss Whedon’s The Avengers is almost ready to unite the world of fanpeoples next summer after uniting a great pool of Hollywood talent and superheroes for one awesome-looking movie.

Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) will be there on May 4. So will Thor (Chris Hemsworth). And Captain America (Chris Evans). And Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) and Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner). Ditto Bruce Banner/the Hulk (Mark Ruffalo).

They all will be working together under the leadership of S.H.I.E.L.D. agent Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) to defend Earth from the vengeful Loki (Tom Hiddleston), Thor’s brother.
