Steve Jobs has died. He was 56.
The Apple and Pixar Studios co-founder – who steered the computer manufacturer’s iRenaissance with cutting-edge and zeitgeist-capturing products such as the iPod, the iPhone, and the iPad – lost his hard-fought battle against pancreatic cancer today in California, just a little more than a month after stepping down as the company’s CEO in August.
The world may have lost one of its leading visionaries, but Jobs’ legacy will live on for many years to come. So here’s to a man’s great life.
