Mary J. Blige, whose latest, Stronger with Each Tear, was release this week, says “a lot of blood, sweat and tears” went into the making of the album.If her new single, “I Am,” is any indication, the effort was well worth it.
Case in point: The Queen of Hip-Hop Soul’s simple performance of the song at this year’s American Music Awards.
