In the upcoming The Informers, an adaptation of Bret Easton Ellis’ novel opening in limited release on April 24, Mickey Rourke and the late Brad Renfro are part of an ensemble cast spending a week in Los Angeles in 1983.Among the characters played by Billy Bob Thornton, Kim Basinger, Jon Foster, Austin Nichols, Lou Taylor Pucci, and Winona Ryder are movie execs, rock stars, and a vampire, all of whom lead lives filled with sex, drugs, and violence.
