The Brits Have It

The BAFTA nominations were announced today, and as it obviously would, the critically acclaimed British film An Education – the one that made a star out of pixie-haired Carey Mulligan, the one I failed to catch at the theater – dominated with eight nods.

Having said that, though, it tied with Avatar and The Hurt Locker, the two front-runners stateside.
