Prolific non-stop moviemaking machine James Franco’s starring in this new Gus Van Sant-produced project titled Michael, right. It’s an adaptation of this New York Times Magazine article “My Ex-Gay Friend,” the story of a Wyoming Christian minister who renounced homosexuality.

And he’s gonna be joined by Zachary Quinto when he does.

The Star Trek player will portray an ex-boyfriend of Franco’s character in the film, while Emma Roberts will take on the role of his current gf.

Leftovers star Chris Zylka also will be featured, as another former love interest of Franco’s.
