She’s Tiger Lily, Y’all

The cast of the forthcoming Joe Wright-directed Peter Pan origin story Pan keeps coming together like gangbusters.

Rooney Mara has landed the part of Tiger Lily in the movie, which will star Garrett Hedlund as P2 Hook and Hugh Jackman as Blackbeard. Not without some controversy, of course (for the character in the cartoon film was Native American, and the Oscar nominee is most definitely not).

Pan is expected to fly into theaters in July of next year.

Btw, the role of Peter Pan has yet to be cast, and the smart money is it will go to a newcomer between they ages of 10 and 12.
