Enigma Widow

You may or may not have known this, but Judy Davis was meant to be featured on the upcoming television event known as 24: Live Another Day!

I think the actress even worked a day on the series, but then she had to bow out for personal reasons. Something like that.

Well, her loss is the gain of Michelle Fairley, the Game of Thrones star who most recently appeared on the USA Network’s Suits. She will be playing the British widow of a notorious terrorist (no word on whether she’ll be good or bad).

Btw, while 24 has recruited a number of old faces for its revival (like Kim Raver and, of course, MVP Mary Lynn Rajskub), it doesn’t sound like Elisha Cuthbert will be joining in on the action.

Which makes sense. Given that the action will be set in London, and maybe, you know, her character, Kim Bauer, does not live across the pond?

Hope she at least gets mentioned so we can get an update on her, no?
