Well, what…an interesting turn of events.

I was so looking to seeing Michael Fassbender get his rocker on as, ahem, an enigmatic rocker in the upcoming Frank – but I did not see this coming.

By which I mean I did not expect not to see the Fass at all.

Because he like, wears a papier-mâché head all throughout the Sundance-approved indie.

Oh yeah. Is there any doubt the Oscar-nominated 12 Years a Slave star is one of the most interesting actors out there now?

Anyway, in Frank, Domhnall Gleeson (About Time, which, btw, is so good) plays an up-and-coming musician who joins Fassbender’s character's band of traveling, ahem, characters, which includes Frank’s fearsome right-hand woman on and off the stage (Maggie Gyllenhaal).
