Looks like Lindsay Lohan’s Lifetime Elizabeth Taylor movie, Liz & Dick, is finally cookin’ with some oil (or whatever the expression is).
The powers that be have cast Grant Bowler – whom you might remember from TV’s Ugly Betty and HBO’s True Blood – as Richard Burton in the project.
“Grant will add gravitas to our couple,” said one of the project’s producers. “He will bring to life one of the greatest actors who has ever lived.”
Production on Liz & Dick is set to get started on June 4, and if you check L2’s Twitter you’ll see the actress has been hard at work choosing her Taylor-appropriate wardrobe. That is when she’s not reportedly staying up all night partying with the likes of Paris Hilton and Brandon Davis (I guess they’ve all moved on past Firecrotchgate and they’re friends again).
