Well, Duh!

In a turn of events that should surprise no one (like, no one), The Avengers will get a sequel.

Joss Whedon’s multi-star blockbuster did make more than $207 million its first weekend out in the United States, after all.

The movie will follow 2013’s Thor 2 and Iron Man 3, which is already adding to its cast, and 2014’s Captain America 2.

Whether Whedon – who would like an Avengers sequel to be a bit more intimate – will be back to helm remains to be seen.
