Yo, Linds – No one Cares

Oh, Lindsay Lohan – dear, diluted, L2.

Can I just say the actress opinion already mattered so little back when she was sort of relevant and she had designers throwing pretty dresses at her, mostly because she became a star at the dawn of living vapidly.

So like, it really boggles my mind that La Lohan, who is so not in the position she was in seven years ago, should think it’s necessary for her to share with the public her choice of presidential candidate.

It’s not like she and astute decision-making have had a fruitful relationship as of late.

Citing unemployment – ha...what, hers? – Linds came out and said earlier this week that “as of now I think [my vote] is Mitt Romney.

Aw...cute. At least she’s consistent with that whole lack of astute decision-making thing.

MC Gwyneth Paltrow Returns...with DJ Jazzy Cameron Diaz

So, evidently, Chelsea Handler is moving into a new, I presume bigger, studio, because her Chelsea Lately is a hit she’s one of E!’s biggest stars, gosh darn it.

During her meteoric rise to late-night fame the last few years, though, Handler has made buddies with a ton of A-Listers, like Jennifer Aniston and Reese Whiterspoon. She supports them here and there, and they return the good grace.

Another one of her pals is Gwyneth Paltrow, and the Oscar winner couldn’t pass up and opportunity to ruffle the comedian’s feathers a bit about the big move as only she could...with a congratulatory rap.

Hey, G.P. is a woman of many talents. Gf can spit, or don’t you remember her claim to fame, the ’80s rap duo Shazzazz that she fronted with Jimmy Fallon.

Anyway, for this oh-so-special message, Paltrow, a.k.a. MC Gwyneth Paltrow, recruited BFF Cameron Diaz, a.k.a. DJ Jazzy Cameron Diaz. Here’s the funny:

So silly. And cute.

Coming to Theater Near Some of You

Can you believe Tom Hanks has never done Broadway?

I know, right!

Well, there’s always a first time for everything, and the the two-time Oscar winner is ready to hit the New York boards, in a new play from the late, great Nora Ephron (with whom, of course, he collaborated on numerous occasions).

So next spring, Hanks will star in Lucky Guy, the rise-and-fall story of the charismatic New York columnist Mike McAlary.

The play will open for a limited engagement on April 1, with previews beginning a month before.

A Frenchwoman in Love

VoilĂ  Michelle Williams’ next project: Suite Française.

The Oscar nominee is negotiating a starring role in Saul Dibb’s (The Duchess) next effort.

She would play a spirited piano-playing unlovingly married young woman in occupied France who falls for a German officer assigned to stay at her home (he’s a composer), and must make a choice between her heart’s desire or her country.

The tension! The drama! The awards bait!

Getting Normal

Matt Bomer’s leaving cable for a (momentary) go at the Peacock.

The cutie-patootie star of USA Network’s White Collar is headed over to NBC to guest on its new hit comedy The New Normal.

Bomer will play the sexy – duh! – ex-bf of Andrew Rannells’ Bryan.

This will mark a bit of a reunion for the DILF and Ryan Murphy, who co-created the show. Bomer guested on Glee last season, and Murphy has cast him in his upcoming feature adaptation of The Normal Heart.

Sweet – the bigger the Bomer world we live in...the better!

And She’s Not Sorry...

What did I tell ya!

Rihanna is dropping her next studio album, Unapologetic, in November – on Nov. 19, to be precise.

Gf has a boner for the 11th month. A big one.

Oh, and check out that tantalizing CD cover art.

She gotta sell, sell, sell, sell, sell, sell, sell, sell, sell....

Nympho Uma

New mom Uma Thurman is wasting no time getting back to some sexy work.

The Kill Bill actress has joined the sprawlingly eclectic cast of Lars von Trier’s Nymphomaniac, which already includes Charlotte Gainsbourg in the titular role, Shia LaBeouf, Stellan SkarsgĂĄrd, and Jamie Bell.

No deets about Thurmans role have been released, but von Trier is already shooting his already-controversial film in Cologne, Germany.

So you know where to go to fish some out.

A Passenger in Danger

Julianne Moore is boarding a flight that only Liam frakkin’ Neeson will be able to save once it’s threatened.

The actress, along with Michelle Dockery (PBSDownton Abbey) and Argo’s Scoot McNairy, are joining the Nees in the thriller Non-Stop.

The trio will play passengers on a plane, while the Taken 2 badass will star as a federal air marshal who starts getting texts from someone claiming to be on board as well – and set on introducing everyone to their maker.

Heroics of the race-against-the-clock ensue.

The Haunted Hunter

American Assassin is officially a sexy project that should appeal to two distinct demos: those who like their beefcake young and buff, and those prefer it a bit older but nevertheless H-O-T.

Chris Hemsworth has been offered the lead in the already-has-Bruce Willis-on-board project about a a troubled man who hunts terrorists for the CIA under the mentoring eye of an older agent.

If he says yes – and why would he not? – Hemsworth would bank a cool 10 mill.

Welcome to the A-List, kid.

Anyway, the movie is to be based on the Vince Flynn novel series and will be directed by Jeffrey Nachmanoff (Showtime’s Homeland) and co-written by Ed Zwick.

Wolf on the Loose

What is going on with MTV’s Teen Wolf?

The popular show avoided a sophomore slump only to see its upcoming third season on the receiving end of a massive blow: its star Colton Haynes is reportedly not coming back for more lupine angst-ion.

Evidently, the actor and the used-to-play-music-videos cabler just could not reach an agreement on his contract and participation on Season 3.

While MTV isn’t confirming the getting-louder rumors, Haynes did tweet yesterday that, “These past few yrs have been the best of my life. I’m sad that this chapter has ended, but excited for a new one to begin.

Cryptic, but oh-so-rather-clear, IMHO.

I guess we’ll see how this cookie crumbles.

Prom Dad

Jamie Foxx and Ken Jeong (TV’s Community) are Hollywood’s latest buddy team.

The Oscar winner is gonna star in a Jeong-produced comedy about a group of ol high school buds watching their kids go to their high school prom.

Meanwhile, Jeong and comedian Kevin Hart are set to play buddies on Foxx’s writing-directing debut, the basketball comedy All-Star.

One will portray a die-hard Kobe fan, while the other will be on Team LeBron.

Hilarity will ensue.

Here Comes Mary Jane

You are not going to be happy if you loved how wonderfully Gwen Stacy went with Peter Parker in The Amazing Spider-Man.

That’s because the powers that be are bringing on Mary Jane Watson for the sequel to the Marc Webb-directed, Andrew Garfield-and-Emma Stone-starring reboot, and they have offered the part to Shailene Woodley.

Uh oh?

Producers also are looking for an actor to play Peter Parker’s BFF Harry Osborn in the sequel, which is going into production early next year with Webb, Garfield, and Stone all set to return for more.

A Colorful, Painful Try

We all know that Pink is one badass mofo, but now she’s just showing off.

The singer – whom I heart – just released the video for Try, the new single off her new record, The Truth About Love, and while she sings about love gone bad like only she can (with that raw, fierce voice of hers), she also puts her quite-athletic post-baby bod on display.

And, heck, gf looks good.

Watch as Pink gets into a very artful, dance-y, sad lover’s quarrel with her partner, played by the beyond-H-O-T dancer Colt Prattes:

Pretty gorge, huh.

T. Swift Knows Trouble

I am so seeing Red right now.

That’s the name of Taylor Swift’s new record, a.k.a. my obsession ’cause that little hit-maker has done it again. When is it coming out again?

Anyway, on the heels of the singers smash We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” here comes her next No. 1, I Knew You Were Trouble,” a dubstep-infused confection that makes me think of – Inside Joke Alert! – South Africa.

I wanna know what T. Swift’s parents fed her as a kid because it clearly worked wonders, and I want my children to diet on the same magic.

Photo: EW.com.

Update: So I'm obsessed with this.

Like, I easily listened to this little ditty more than 172 times during the two days after I first discovered it.

I even have a little dance for it.

Trouble....

Bond Trunks Sold!

It’s a bit hard to believe that once upon a time there was a mini-controversy about Daniel Craig taking over the James Bond franchise.

Too blond! Too short! Too not Connery/Moore/Lazenby/Dalton/Brosnan!

What’s oh-so-much-easier to wrap your head around is the fact that the actor won the world over when he made a splash in those now-famous light blue swim trunks he wore in Casino Royale.

A star was born in that moment of cinematic glory.

And now that iconic piece of swimwear has gone to highest bidder.

Yep, the trunks were sold for almost $72,000 at a charity auction in London last week – and I am sure they fetched that much because of what Judi Dench said about them at the event.

“All I’m going to tell you is they’re unwashed,” she teased as she introduced the item.

Now that’s how you sell.

Skyfall, a.k.a. the next 007 adventure – with Craig once again branding that license to kill he’s earned –  is set to arrive in theaters on Nov. 9. Keep your eyes peeled for another piece of his wardrobe you’d like to see hit the auction block in the future.

No. 5’s Big Pitt Tease

Remember how a bit ago we all found out that Brad Pitt was going to be starring in his first campaign as a beauty spokesmodel for Chanel No. 5.

Yeah, that was a good day.
Well, now Chanel is teasing the campaign, which is set to be unveiled on Oct. 15 when the actor stars in a new commercial shot by director Joe Wright (Atonement, the upcoming Anna Karenina). The teases are mostly audio-friendly, though, with a picture of Pitt looking away from the camera holding still as his voice sexily asks a few questions that will surely make your panties drop.

Btw, Pitt reportedly pocketed a cool 7 mill for the gig. Which, you can bet, he’ll probably reinvest in some indie film project or, more likely, redirect to a charity dear to his handsome heart.

Oh, and the print ads are coming next month, so get those pins ready and make some wall room, people.

Photo: StyleCaster.com.

Update: Is this a joke?

The actual commercial makes Pitt looks like he’s auditioning – badly – for some B movie.

That dialogue they had him spew is atrocious.

Sorry, Chanel, but this aspect of your new campaign kinda stinks. Here’s to hoping the print ads are better (which I am sure they will be since they are silent).

Hey, Maybe M Can Be the Wedding Singer

Guy Ritchie is engaged.

The director reportedly popped the big Q to his model-gf of two years, Jacqui Ainsley. The couple has a son together and they’re expecting a second child.

How ’bout it, Madonna – would you sing at the wedding?

That’d be kinda sweet. And funny. And hella fun.

Hottie Hubby

Martin Henderson sure has a type (of role he likes to play on TV).

The Kiwi has scored a part on NBC’s Husbands and Wives off-cycle pilot, which, I guess, is a pilot commanded not during pilot season?

Henderson will play a former flight surgeon and astronaut who comes back home after a prolonged absence and finds his family life just ain’t what it used to be...or what it seems.

Perrey Reeves (HBO’s Entourage) and Nicole Ari Parker (Showtime’s Soul Food) are already on board the Jerry Bruckheimer Television-produced project.

What Does J. Stath Got on J. Lo?

What, oh what does Jason Statham have on Jennifer Lopez in the upcoming Parker that she finds herself in such a compromising position?

I guess we’ll find out when their crime thriller (some of which was shot in Florida) hits theaters in January.

Statham plays yet another anti-hero in the upcoming project about the career criminal dreamt up by prolific author Donald E. Westlake under the nom the plume Richard Stark. The character has appeared – under a different name – in movies such as 1967’s Point Blank and the 99 Mel Gibon vehicle Payback, but this is the first time the character will appear on screen as Westlake birthed him.

Now click here to see the action star in a couple other pics...and in a couple other outfits (something tells me Parker is a bit of a costume enthusiast).

Bookish Girl

Lena Dunham has taken on film and the tube as a multi-hyphenate who writes, directs, produces, and stars in her own terrific stuff, and now she’s taking on the publishing world.

The main Girl on HBO’s Girls is eyeing the dotted line on a million-dollar book deal to release a modern-day version of Helen Gurley Brown’s famous 1962 advice book Sex and the Single Girl.

Dunham’s tome, titled Not That Kind of Girl, would be published next year, since, you know, this year is almost all done and over with, so go add it to your Amazon.com Wish List, people.

Photo: Zimbio.com.

Update 1: Oh, well, good for her.

A bidding war reportedly has erupted over Dunham’s book, and the actress could be getting almost $4 million for the thing.

Guess the iron is hotter than we thought.

Update 2: Girl’s scored! Random House reportedly has gotten the book...and Dunham will get something north of $3.5 million for her work.

Is this a suspect time to say I want her to be my new BFF?

POTUS Teach

Wes Bentley’s second act is moving right ahead (his first was marred by myriad personal struggles, including drugs and his grief over the passing of his pal Heath Ledger).

The American Beauty and Hunger Games actor has landed a role in The Green Blade Rises, a.k.a. yet another project about Abraham Lincoln, this one produced by director Terrence Malick.

Bentley will play Honest Abe’s first teacher.

Another Earth’s Brit Marling also has joined the cast as Lincoln’s biological mother.

Diane Kruger is set to take on the part of the 16th president’s stepmother, while Jason Clarke (Lawless) will portray his father.

The Hottest DILF, Hands Down

I am quite fond of many a Hollywood man, but, dayum, does Liev Schreiber take the cake or what.

Naomi Watts is one lucky witch with a B she gets to call this hunk her baby daddy.

I think what I like the most about the actor’s looks is that he looks like a real fella, y’ know. He’s tall, but he’s not prohibitively imposing. And he looks strong, but he doesn’t strike me as the delicate type that won’t eat carbs. Plus, look at how loving he looks carrying his 31/2-year-old son Kai.

Swoon. I enjoy.

Skyfall Chanteuse

What would M says.

I mean...double-oh well much?

One of the music world’s worst-kept secrets is out of the bag: Adele is totally singing the theme song for the latest 007 adventure, Skyfall.

A full version of “Skyfall, the song, is set to drop tomorrow, but until then, here’s a preview.

Sounds hella atmospheric, huh.

Patient Man

Matthew McConaughey better be in the mood to share his weight loss-for-a-role diet with Gael GarcĂa Bernal.

The Mexican actor is in negotiations for a part in Dallas Buyer’s Club, the story of a redneck with AIDS (McConaughey) who starts smuggling drugs into the United States to help patients with HIV fight off the virus.

Production on the movie is set to begin in New Orleans next month.
