Fit for an Empire

That scene-stealer from Memoirs of the Geisha, Gong Li, is ready for another go at the spotlight.

Li is going to star in The Last Empress, a U.S.-China co-production about the infamous Empress Dowager Cixi who ruled China from 1861-1908.

I am salivating at the thought of Li in some stunning costumes already.
