The actress has signed on to play the lead on the cabler’s new pilot The Bridge.
Based on the Scandinavian series Bron/Broen, the show will follow an El Paso Police Homicide detective who works with an agent from Mexico to take on a serial killer operating along the U.S.-Mexico border.
This would be Kruger’s first regular American TV gig, but not her first American TV appearance: Girlfriend had a memorable cameo on bf Joshua Jackson’s Fringe some time ago.
