The Big Short star is hitting the brakes on headlining Michael Mann’s proposed Enzo Ferrari biopic due to – get this – health reasons.
Evidently, the Academy Award-winning actor decided to step away from the project after becoming concerned about the weight he would have had to put on in order to play the carmaker. Production on the film is set to commence this spring, which probably doesn’t allow him the time he needs to prep.
If only Gerard Butler had Bale’s acting chops (because it lately sure looks like the guy has been eatin’ dem pork chops)....
