That is the mystery at the heart of the Coen brothers’ upcoming latest, a modern-day love letter to the old Hollywood studio system (of sorts), if I ever saw one recently.
No Country for Old Men’s Josh Brolin stars in the upcoming Hail, Caesar!, as Eddie Mannix, a Golden Age fixer who must locate Baird Whitlock, the kidnapped star of a studio’s big-time production of epically Roman proportions that is played by the one and only George Clooney.
Fargo’s Frances McDomand, Burn After Reading’s Tilda Swinton, Ralph Fiennes, Alden Ehrenreich, Scarlett Johansson, Jonah Hill, and Channing Tatum co-star.
Hail, Caesar! is due out on Feb. 5. Check out the trailer for the film now.
