Sand Studs

The Man from U.N.C.L.E., Henry Cavill, is ready to become a man of the Sand Castle.

The actor – and his Immortals co-star, Luke Evans (pictured here, too) – has been tapped for a role in an Iraq war drama by that title starring Nicholas Hoult.

The Mad Max: Fury Road actor will play a soldier on a mission circa 2003 to repair a broken water system in the unstable Iraqi village of Baqubah in the project, which is based on screenwriter Chris Roessner’s experience as a machine gunner in the Sunni Triangle.

Cavill will portray the special forces captain running the op, while Evans will take on the role of the sergeant leading Hoult’s character’s unit.
