Pfeiffer is attached to an untitled small-screen project about a morning news anchor that Katie Couric is involved with, as executive producer, and that would be overseen by Diane English (TV’s Murphy Brown).
The show would offer a comedic behind-the-scenes look at the world of a Today-esque show with a Couric-ish lady at its center.
This would be Pfeiffer’s first TV starring role.
