Proving that life and the show do, in fact, go on...Hollywood is remaking Ben-Hur!
And the powers that be at looking to Tom Hiddleston to carry the epic-ness of it all.
Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter and Wanted director Timur Berkmambetov is already set to helm the production, which will start shooting soon, for a February 2016 release. The project will be based on the 1880 Lew Wallace novel Ben-Hur: A Tale of the Christ.
The Hiddle-hunk would pull a Charlton Heston to star as Judah Ben-Hur – if he says yes to the movie.
Evidently (more like obviously), he is hella busy with myriad projects, including a potential turn as Hank Williams in I Saw the Light.
