The five-time Academy Award nominee is eyeing a starring role in one of director Denis Villeneuve’s follow-ups to Enemy, Story of Your Life.
The other, btw, is Sicario, which shall star Emily Blunt.
Adams (who previously hit it big at the box office with Enchanted, Man of Steel, and American Hustle, but is more known and praised for her indie work) would play a linguist who is brought in by the military to ascertain whether the aliens that have just landed on Earth are nicies or meanies.
Complications – or something – arise when she starts to see things, via vivid flashbacks, during her communications with the visitors.
