Next time we see Jada Pinkett Smith on the big screen, she just might be practicing her español.
The actress is starring and co-producing a new drama titled La Escribana de Uraba, a Colombia-set story of a journalist covering the murder of an employee of a multinational corporation.
Pinkett Smith already got the Colombian government on board – she’s met the country’s film-buff president and its minister of culture and stuff, so she means business – and is set to let the cameras roll in the fall.
Up next for Mrs. Will Smith, though, is supporting After Earth, a blockbuster starring her husband and their son Jaden that she produced.
