As Coco Chanel

Chanel creative director Karl Lagerfeld just adores Keira Knightley, so he’s enlisted her to play the iconic Coco Chanel in a new short film he’s helming.

How very David Lynch of him.

Allow me to explain.

Evidently, Lynch called the shots on a Dior short that starred Oscar winner Marion Cotillard (GTS...I know I am), so Lagerfeld is copying paying homage to that idea and putting together a little film starring Kinghtley, the face of Coco Mademoiselle, to mark the 100th anniversary of the fashion house.

Someone’s gonna walk away with lots of fab swag....
