Julie Benz, formerly of Showtime’s Dexter, is moving to Wisteria Lane.The actress has been cast on TV’s Desperate Housewives, in the recurring role of Debbie, a stripper with a heart of gold and a master’s degree in education. When Susan (Teri Hatcher) offers her the chance to transition into a more legitimate career, Deb jumps at it.
Mmm...does she jump Mike (James Denton), too?
Benz has signed on for at least three episodes, the first of which will air in February.
