Luke Hemsworth is the slow but steady of the Hemsworth brothers.

Time goes by so slowly for those who wait, but when it comes....

The elder brother of Thor and Miley’s on-again fiancé will star as a detective opposite Jonathan LaPaglia – himself the lesser-know actor-brother of Anthony – in The Reckoning, the story of a cop looking for two teenagers who went MIA after capturing a murder on video.

Urgh...you try to do the right thing.

Leading Luke

Luke Hemsworth is ready for his close-up.

The other Hemsworth brother is working on The 34th Battalion, an Aussie production about an Australian army unit that fought heroically against the Germans during World War I.

Emilie de Ravin (TV’s Once Upon a Time), Stephen Lang (TV’s Terra Nova), Vinnie Jones, and Charles Mesure (TV’s V) are set to co-star.

That family is going three for three, huh.

I bet they so know about the rule of repetition.

Minutes Man

It’s not Fifty Shades of Grey, but it’s som’in’.

Ian Somerhalder is gonna co-star with Chris Liam Luke Hemsworth and Brian Cox in The Anomaly, the story of a traumatized ex-soldier who wakes up in the back of a van – hate it when that happens – next to a kidnapped boy.

And as if that weren’t bad enough, the guy will only have like, less than 10 minutes of consciousness to figure out how and why he’s in this particular pickle.

Harry of Wales, Luke Hemsworth....

Being the other brother in the family can be tough, handsome work.

Joining the ranks of the others now is Dylan Efron, younger brother of Zac and sporter of his own rock ’em, sock set o’ abs. He made his abstastic debut on his actor-brother’s Twitter last night, and that burn scent you smell? That’s the Internet feeling H-O-T!

I cannot help but wonder: What was mama Efron was eatin’ when she was carrying those two that made their abs so impossibly gosh darn responsive.

2013: The Year in Review

Well look at that: We made it another year.

And since we can’t stop (do we even want to?), we I gotta celebrate that (and the fact that, one year later, I am back home) with my traditional look back at the year that was up on the silver screen.

Because if you wanna have a clue where you’re going then you gotta remember where you came from. I remember and I know that now (in more ways than one).

Hope this review of our filmed 2013 shines a light on what we saw, and that some of it will illuminate what is yet to come.
