The Colony’s Political Animal

Josh Holloway’s upcoming USA Network show, Colony, just totally scored.

Adrian Pasdar (TV’s Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.) has landed a recurring role on the show, as one half  of a power couple that figures prominently in the politics of the occupational government.

Colony, I should remind ya, is a show about a family living in L.A. after a mysterious “foreign” occupation (Holloway will portray a former FBI agent who agrees to start working with the occupying forces to stop a growing resistance, all in the name of protecting his family and finding one of his young sons).

Kathryn Morris (TV’s Cold Case) will play Pasdar’s on-screen wife, a haughty-type o’ lady.

Daddy

Cable’s getting sexy later this season – not network – now that Adrian Pasdar’s joining the ABC Family.

The actor has been cast on The Lying Game, an upcoming show about separated-at-birth twin girls that looks very much like a Parent Trap gone dark.

Pasdar’s set to play the oh-so-good-looking dad of one of the girl’s BFF.

And who’s sooo going to be watching.

Yep – this guy.

TV’s Gon’ Be Sexy in the Fall…

Adrian Pasdar is (probably) finally coming back to us – and to NBC.

The former Heroes star has signed on to do his first half-hour comedy, a project from the creator of The New Adventures of Old Christine.

The workplace comedy revolves around, a relationship-challenged woman (Sarah Paulson) who, with the help of her co-workers, guides people through unexpected career transitions.

Pasdar will play the super-confident guy she has drunk sex with in a bar restroom and eventually joins her company. Here’s to hoping the pilot has him shirtless quite a bit – that man is fine.

The Agent

Ooh, Adrian Pasdar is coming back to TV.

Too bad he’s popping up on one of the few shows I don’t watch.

The former Heroes star is gonna play an FBI agent tasked with trying to track down and neutralize a threat that has the NYPD at full alert on Castle. Pasdar reportedly will stick around for multiple episodes, first appearing in an intense two-parter airing Feb. 21 and 28.

Can someone get this guy a full-time gig, please? Perhaps on cable so he can cuss and show some skin?

Putting the Disappointment in DUI

Adrian Pasdar was arrested for DUI early this morning.

The fallen Heroes star was stopped in the wee hours after he reportedly was spotted driving super-fast on the 405 in L.A., “failing to maintain his lane.”

The officer who stopped him smelled alcohol – gasp! – and decided to give him a field sobriety test. The actor was then arrested on suspicion of DUI.

Oh man…. Pasdar, I wish you nothing but the best, but c’mon – you know you can’t drink and drive, boo.

Bye Bye Adrian Bye Bye

Adrian Pasdar, quite easily the handsomest and most underused actor on TV, has been unceremoniously fired from Heroes.

Rumors had been swirling for a while that an actor had found out about his upcoming pink slip after reading that his character would be biting it – gasp! – in the script, which is all kinds of tacky on the part of the powers that be, and now we’ve learned that the unlucky guy is Pasdar.

How quickly things change!

When I met him earlier this year, Pasdar said he thought he’d be very much a part of this waning fourth season.

Deep Inside

Last May, Adrian Pasdar of TV’s Heroes arrived on South Beach to perform with Band From TV (a charity cover band that also features co-star Greg Grunberg, Desperate Housewives’ Teri Hatcher and James Denton, super-cutie patootie Jesse Spencer from House and former Bachelor Bob Guiney) at the Shore Club.

In an interview for Miami Living’s August issue out now, Pasdar revealed to me that he would be very much a part of Heroes’ fourth season premiering tonight, especially now that he is taking on more than just one character.

Ish.

(Last season, Pasdar’s character, Nathan, died, in an all-out fight with Sylar, the badass played by Zachary Quinto, who was then mind-tricked into Nathan’s body and made to believe he is Nathan.)

“It’s going to be a tug of war between my character and Zach’s,” Pasdar said. “I can’t say much about it, but it’s really dynamic how they’re writing the storyline. At times it’ll be more Nathan, and other times it’ll be more Sylar. It’s about control and the duality of mankind – good and evil. That sort of thing.

“It’s a Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde kinda thing.”

Sounds good, does it not?

I mean, anything that keeps Pasdar on TV will do in my book.

Spoiler Alert, Heroes fans: Nathan Petrelli may be in danger.

The creative minds behind the NBC cult show better not touch a single hair on his head or do anything that puts Adrian Pasdar’s presence in jeopardy.

Entertainment Weekly hearts Adrian Pasdar, one of the stars of the highly addictive new TV show, Heroes.

The great thing is I do, too!

He’s one of the main reasons I enjoy the show so very much – him and Masi Oka, actually.

Now, if only people had hearted these shows, too.
