The Directors Guild of America will name on Jan. 26 the winner of the DGA Award for Outstanding Directorial Achievement in Feature Film for 2007.The nominees are Paul Thomas Anderson (There Will Be Blood), the Coen Brothers (No Country for Old Men), Tony Gilroy (Michael Clayton), Sean Penn (Into the Wild), and Julian Schnabel (The Diving Bell and the Butterfly).
Meanwhile, the embattled Writers Guild of America has nominated Juno, Knocked Up, Lars and the Real Girl, Michael Clayton, and The Savages in the best original screenplay category for its awards.
Making the best adapted screenplay cut are The Diving Bell and the Butterfly, Into the Wild, No Country for Old Men, There Will Be Blood, and Zodiac.
The WGA winners will be announced on Feb. 9.
